Research Interests
We are interested in the science, engineering, and social dimensions of hydrology in interdisciplinary research settings.
Process Focus: Hydrologic processes across scales, hydrologic extremes, risk, resilience, snow hydrology, water and agriculture, conservation practices, coupled hydro-environmental processes, water and public health, human-water interactions, water resources management, water quality.
Method Focus: AI/ML, explainable AI, causal inference and discovery, statistical methods, process-based modeling, remote sensing, GIS.
Application/Outcome Focus: Decision support systems, hydrologic monitoring and forecasting, stakeholder engagement, research dissemination through educational outreach.
